Job Summary

The Berlin Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family is seeking a dedicated Grant and Funding Administrator to manage subsidy and approval processes. In this role, you will be responsible for issuing approval notices, verifying proof of use, addressing audit findings, and managing cost and performance accounting. You will handle title management and act as a lead contact for audit reports from the State Audit Office. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or FH-Diploma (DQR Level 6) in Administration, Law, or Economics; alternatively, completion of 'Verwaltungsfachwirt' or 'Verwaltungslehrgang II' training.

Experience

  • Professional experience in budgetary or grant management required for non-degree holders
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time professional experience in budgetary or grant areas for candidates with a secondary administrative qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time professional experience in budgetary or grant areas for candidates with a completed vocational training

  • Must meet career law requirements for the 1st entry level of the 2nd career group of general administrative services (for civil servants). Must provide certificate evaluation (ZAB) for foreign degrees. All application documents must be submitted in German.
