Job Summary

As a Site Reliability Engineer for Delos Cloud, you will play a pivotal role in building and operating a sovereign cloud platform designed for the German public sector. Working within the Core Platform Services team, you will be responsible for the stability, availability, and scalability of critical infrastructure components based on the Microsoft Azure technology stack. Your daily tasks include performing capacity planning, performance analysis, and implementing best practices to ensure strict adherence to SLAs and OLAs. You will act as a vital technical bridge between operational partners and Microsoft development teams, translating complex requirements into actionable improvements. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar technical role
  • Extensive experience operating and managing the Microsoft Azure technology stack
  • Proven experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor
  • Professional experience in infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Demonstrated experience in Windows Server administration
  • Practical experience applying ITIL methodologies in a daily work environment
