Job Summary

This role involves the development and maintenance of embedded software for microcontrollers in accordance with IEC 61508 safety standards at Beckhoff Automation, a global leader in PC-based control technology. Day-to-day, you will evaluate digital and analog signals, implement safety mechanisms in real-time systems, and utilize communication interfaces like UART, SPI, and EtherCAT. You will be responsible for developing diagnostic functions, self-tests, and test environments, while debugging and optimizing software on hardware prototypes. Working in small, collaborative teams alongside safety electronics developers, you will contribute to innovative automation solutions.
