Job Summary
As a Flight Control Development Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the development of complex components, assemblies, and systems specifically for the aviation industry. Your daily tasks involve defining and aligning technical requirements at both the system and assembly levels, ensuring that all components meet functional, installation, and scheduling requirements. You will serve as a key technical liaison, coordinating design solutions with internal and external project partners and supporting the purchasing department with technical supplier analysis. Additionally, you will create and approve test requirements and instructions, following development results through to series production readiness. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with high-profile clients in the aerospace sector while benefiting from a permanent contract, flexible working hours, and remote work options within a globally recognized engineering service provider.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development and support of complex components or assemblies
- Experience in design engineering, production planning, or in-service support
- Proven experience in coordinating with internal and external development partners
- Experience in creating and approving test instructions and trial requirements
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to undertake occasional domestic and international business travel is required.
