Job Summary

This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of electronic alarm systems, devices, and various electrical systems, including controls and equipment at the Spangdahlem Air Base. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of critical safety infrastructure. The position requires a high level of technical expertise in electrical engineering and the physical ability to handle equipment weighing up to 20 kg. This is a full-time, fixed-term position covering for a sick leave, offering a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic NATO environment. Required Skills

Education

State-certified Master Craftsman (Elektromeister) or State-certified Electrical Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Elektrotechniker) required.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the installation and maintenance of electronic alarm and control systems
  • Experience in a similar field of activity at a comparable level of difficulty (C-6 grade requirement)
  • Proven experience in handling electrical equipment and systems
