Job Summary
This role involves leading and managing a specific section within the Federal Railway Fund (BEV) health insurance division in Karlsruhe. As a Section Manager, you will be responsible for the disciplinary and technical leadership of your team, overseeing daily workflows, and conducting annual performance reviews. You will handle complex correspondence regarding benefit law, evaluate expert opinions, and support the regional management in departmental matters. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in public administration or law who enjoy personnel management and operational oversight. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree or Fachhochschule degree in Public Administration, Law, Business Administration, Health Management, Social Management, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in the higher non-technical administrative service (grades A9 to A11) or equivalent private sector experience
- Experience in personnel leadership and staff motivation
- Experience in handling legal or administrative correspondence
- Experience in planning and organizational management
