Job Summary
This role offers an exciting opportunity to actively shape modern automation and remote control technologies within the renewable energy and e-mobility sector. As a Remote Control Technician / PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and programming to on-site commissioning and maintenance. Your day-to-day work involves programming PLC systems (Siemens, Wago, Phoenix Contact), configuring EZA controllers, and ensuring seamless data communication between transformer stations and grid operators using standard protocols. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver innovative energy solutions, including EV charging infrastructure and load management systems. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy a mix of office-based programming and occasional field visits. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Communications Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in remote control and automation technology
- Proven experience in the energy sector is preferred
- Extensive experience in programming and visualizing PLC systems
- Practical experience in energy management, including grid/consumption control and load management
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license required. Willingness to undertake occasional business trips and site visits is necessary.
