Job Summary
As a Protection and Control Technician specializing in Medium Voltage, you will serve as a vital link between technical execution, project management, and on-site clients. Your daily responsibilities involve conducting protection and functional tests on medium-voltage systems, including photovoltaic plants, transformer stations, and battery storage units. You will be responsible for commissioning protection devices, calculating protection settings, and performing bit tests on telecontrol systems. This role is central to ensuring the operational reliability of renewable energy infrastructure. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician (Elektroniker) or equivalent. Further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician (Techniker) in Electrical Engineering is highly desirable.
Experience
- Professional experience as an Electronics Technician or in a comparable electrical role
- Initial experience in protection technology or e-mobility is preferred
- Experience in performing functional tests and controlling protection relays
- Experience in calculating protection settings and dimensioning protection transformers
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license required. High willingness to travel within Germany, Austria, and Italy for the majority of working hours. Permanent full-time contract.
