Job Summary
This role involves providing critical technical support and maintenance for complex industrial machinery at Siemens Mobility in Munich. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of high-end machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and grinders, as well as robotic systems and automated production lines. You will analyze root causes of failures, implement sustainable solutions, and perform cyclical maintenance according to strict schedules. The position is highly technical, requiring the use of CNC and PLC knowledge to diagnose faults. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or Industrial Mechanic.
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the service or maintenance of machine tools or production plants
- Proven experience in troubleshooting complex automated manufacturing systems
- Practical experience working with CNC or PLC control systems
- Experience in maintaining process engineering systems such as electroplating or coating furnaces
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work shifts, Saturdays, and be on-call (standby duty). Location is Munich. Work permit for Germany required.
