Job Summary

As a (Junior) Electrical Engineer, you will join DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH in Osnabrück for a comprehensive 2-to-3-year paid qualification program designed to train you as a certified Railway Construction Supervisor. Your daily responsibilities will involve a mix of office work (40%) and on-site field supervision (60%), where you will oversee electrical infrastructure projects such as overhead line systems. You will be responsible for coordinating construction logistics, documenting operations digitally, and ensuring that external partners adhere to safety regulations, costs, and deadlines. This role is unique because it offers a structured career path into the railway sector, combining theoretical training with practical project management on some of Europe's most significant infrastructure projects. You will act as a vital link between planning teams and external contractors, ensuring high-quality execution and operational safety.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable engineering field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in construction management, infrastructure project realization, or operational maintenance is preferred
  • Experience or motivation to complete the 'Bauüberwacher Bahn' qualification program
  • Prior knowledge of VV BAU-STE regulations is an advantage
  • Experience in coordinating external partners and contractors
