Job Summary

As the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department for one of Germany's largest water and wastewater utilities (OOWV), you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of electrical systems within the wastewater division. Your daily activities will include leading a team of specialists, overseeing disciplinary and technical leadership, and optimizing departmental processes. You will ensure the flawless planning, tendering, awarding, and construction supervision of electrical projects. A key part of the role involves managing budgets, contributing to investment planning, and developing central standards for electrical systems. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Engineering with a focus on Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in project management and controlling of complex construction projects.
  • Proven experience in the planning and implementation of electrical engineering projects, preferably in plant engineering.
  • Leadership experience is required, or the willingness to develop these skills through a structured development period.
  • Professional experience in the field of wastewater management is desirable.
