Job Summary

As an Offshore Electrical Service and Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of offshore wind turbines. Your daily responsibilities include performing complex troubleshooting, fault rectification, and routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical components. Working within a specialized service team, you will implement technical improvements, document activities, and ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards. A significant part of the role involves managing lifting equipment and securing systems like blade and nacelle carriers. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical service and maintenance, specifically within the offshore or wind energy sector.
  • Experience in fault finding and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience in technical reporting and documentation of maintenance activities.
  • Experience working in shift rotations, including early and night shifts.

Languages

English (Fluent)

Additional

  • Valid GWO (Global Wind Organisation) offshore training certifications are preferred. Must be willing to work flexible shifts and offshore rotations. Must be qualified as an 'Elektrofachkraft' (Qualified Electrician) for LOTO procedures.
