As a Senior AI Software Engineer at BMW Group, you will be at the forefront of transforming the automotive software development lifecycle through artificial intelligence. Your daily responsibilities involve developing and maintaining a company-wide ecosystem for AI-supported software development, which includes configuring IDEs, establishing AI rules, and optimizing developer workflows. You will work extensively with cutting-edge AI coding assistants like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, evaluating new technologies such as agentic workflows and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to determine their practical value. Beyond technical implementation, you will act as a mentor and leader within the developer community, facilitating hackathons and workshops to promote AI adoption.
