Job Summary
As a Senior IT Service Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operation and continuous development of service management services within the email frontend environment, with a specific focus on mobile access. Your day-to-day work involves steering and optimizing service processes across the entire lifecycle, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and coordinating a virtual, interdisciplinary service team. You will act as a key communicator between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent and customer-oriented problem resolution while managing escalations across various departments. The role is highly analytical, requiring the preparation of service reports and KPIs to drive continuous service improvement. This position is particularly attractive for professionals who enjoy combining technical expertise in Microsoft Exchange and Outlook with commercial responsibilities such as license management, cost controlling, and service calculation within a global digital engineering consultancy.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- At least 5 years of practical experience in IT Service Management
- Professional experience in technical leadership and steering external service providers
- Proven experience in the creation and evaluation of service reports and commercial calculations
- Practical experience using agile methods in an IT environment, ideally in roles such as Product Owner
- Extensive experience in managing email frontend services and mobile access solutions
