Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position within the City of Gelsenkirchen's Building and Real Estate department focuses on the lifecycle management of building automation systems for public new-builds and existing properties. As a key member of the Energy Team, you will independently handle the planning, tendering, and awarding of contracts, as well as construction management and site supervision in accordance with HOAI phases 1-9. Your daily responsibilities include managing building control systems (BMS), instrumentation and control (I&C) technology, and data point management. You will serve as a vital link between interdisciplinary teams, external planning offices, and contractors, ensuring projects meet strict cost, quality, and deadline targets. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) in Electrical Engineering or Building Automation Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in the planning and supervision of building automation systems
- Practical experience in HOAI service phases 1-9
- Experience in construction site management and billing for electrical installations
- Proven experience in interdisciplinary teamwork involving IT and building services
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of building control technology and network/bus systems
