Job Summary
As an Industrial Engineer specializing in SMD Data Management, you will be the technical linchpin for surface-mount technology (SMD) processes, overseeing new product introductions (NPI) from initial layout to full-scale series production. Your daily responsibilities include creating and optimizing SMD data for placement lines, maintaining component libraries, and analyzing machine parameters to enhance quality and efficiency. You will act as a critical interface between internal layout designers and external suppliers, evaluating PCB designs for manufacturability (DFM) and defining process strategies. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training or a university degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Technology, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in electronics manufacturing, specifically within SMD production environments
- Practical experience with ASM and FUJI placement systems is highly preferred
- Proven experience in technical process analysis and the implementation of optimization measures
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration between design, production, and external suppliers
Languages
Additional
- Minimum B2 level proficiency required for both German and English. Position is based in Tettnang with flexible and remote work options available.
