Job Summary

This role involves leading scientific research and development projects within the Innovation Center of the Bundeswehr (InnoZBw). Working in advanced laboratories focused on robotics, unmanned systems, hyperspace, or satellite technology, you will coordinate scientific activities, monitor technological trends, and manage innovation projects. Your day-to-day will involve supervising project staff, supporting student theses and doctoral candidates, and actively participating in the international scientific community through publications and conferences. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or University Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Materials Science, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a specialized technical field such as robotics, AI, aerospace, or material sciences
  • Professional experience in coordinating scientific projects or innovation studies
  • Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration with universities or international partners is preferred
  • Proven ability for independent scientific work, ideally demonstrated through a PhD or peer-reviewed publications
