Job Summary

This role involves the technical planning and integration of navigation and communication systems on naval vessels for a renowned client in the maritime defense industry. On a day-to-day basis, the successful candidate will conduct requirement analyses, develop system concepts, and create technical documentation such as ordering and interface specifications. You will act as a central technical coordinator, managing suppliers and external partners while ensuring quality control through acceptance tests both at supplier sites and onboard ships. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in systems engineering and the integration of complex technical systems
  • Experience in the maritime environment, shipbuilding, or shipyard industry is highly preferred
  • Professional experience in technical project planning and coordination
  • Experience in conducting acceptance tests and managing technical negotiations with suppliers and customers
  • Experience in maintaining equipment and design databases
