Job Summary

This role offers a dynamic opportunity to join Akkodis, a global leader in Smart Industry, working on a high-stakes project within the defense industry in Munich. As an Electrical Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of training devices and systems for both military and civil applications, managing the process from initial bidding to final delivery. Your daily tasks will involve analyzing functional requirements, creating technical specifications, and designing electrical components and assemblies. You will ensure that all technical solutions meet strict standards, deadlines, and cost requirements while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This position is particularly attractive for engineers who enjoy a mix of hands-on design—such as creating wiring diagrams and circuit plans—and high-level system maintenance. The role provides a global professional network and the chance to work on complex systems like large server installations and advanced bus systems in an international environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the development and design of electronic devices and systems
  • Proven experience in control cabinet planning and the use of E-CAD software
  • Professional experience in technical requirements analysis and the creation of specifications
  • Experience in data transmission via bus systems such as Profinet and CAN-bus
  • Preferred experience within the military or defense industry
  • Experience in the electrical layout of large server systems or rooms is advantageous
