Job Summary
As a Business Intelligence Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in evolving and optimizing a Microsoft Azure-based BI solution. Your daily responsibilities will involve developing data models, connecting diverse data sources using Azure Data Factory, and managing the multi-stage Data Warehouse architecture including Staging, Core DWH, and Datamarts. You will work closely with various departments to provide data for Power BI reporting and conduct ad-hoc analyses. The role offers a high degree of creative freedom within a modern technical environment, utilizing Azure DevOps for CI/CD and exploring AI-supported workflows on a dedicated on-premise AI server. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable vocational qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in Business Intelligence and Backend Development
- Proven experience with Azure Data Factory including Pipelines, Datasets, and Triggers
- Practical experience with ETL processes and Slowly Changing Dimensions
- Experience with Data Warehouse architecture and multi-stage DWH setups
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for database and report deployments
- Basic experience in Python or Node.js for automation tasks
