Job Summary
As a Business Intelligence Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in evolving and optimizing the company's BI solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure. Your daily responsibilities involve expanding and implementing data models in close collaboration with various departments, connecting diverse data sources via Azure Data Factory, and preparing data for centralized reporting in Power BI. You will actively shape the multi-stage Data Warehouse architecture (Staging, Core DWH, Datamarts) and manage deployments through Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Required Skills
Education
Degree in (Business) Computer Science or a comparable professional qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in Business Intelligence or Backend Development
- Proven expertise in SQL Server and complex query design
- Practical experience with Azure Data Factory including pipelines and triggers
- Experience with ETL processes and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD2)
- Experience with Data Warehouse architecture (Staging, Core, Datamarts)
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization
