Job Summary

As a Power Electronics Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development, design, and testing of power electronic components, conductors, and fuses across various operating modes. Your daily tasks include planning and executing rigorous test cycles—covering continuous operation, insulation, MTBF, and service life—while conducting EMI testing and navigating CE and UL certification processes. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting design and performance issues, implementing corrective measures, and performing risk analyses (FMEA). Beyond design, you will develop test fixtures for production and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer looking to take ownership of complex projects for high-profile clients. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional engineering experience in the field of electrical engineering or power electronics
  • Proven experience in the selection of suitable electronic components and materials
  • Practical experience in planning, conducting, and evaluating complex test procedures (Isolation, MTBF, Lifetime)
  • Experience in developing test fixtures and managing production databases
  • Professional experience in troubleshooting and implementing corrective measures for design issues
