Job Summary

As an IT Onsite Support Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the stable operation of customer-specific IT environments through direct, hands-on support. Your daily activities will include performing IMAC/D (Install, Move, Add, Change, De-install) tasks and Break-Fix services for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. You will install, configure, and commission both hardware and software, while also managing printer environments across multiple vendors. A significant portion of the role involves analyzing complex 1st and 2nd level technical issues, managing tickets within a troubleshooting system, and adhering to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This position is ideal for those who enjoy professional user interaction, as you will communicate via email, phone, and at on-site service counters. The role offers the unique opportunity to work with a leading IT service provider in Germany, supporting medium-sized businesses and public administration through hardware rollouts and local infrastructure moves.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational IT training (e.g., Fachinformatiker) or equivalent professional experience in technical support.

Experience

  • Professional experience in technical support or onsite IT environments
  • Experience in the installation and commissioning of hardware and software
  • Experience working with ticket-based troubleshooting systems and adhering to SLAs
  • Proven experience in client hardware and software support
  • Experience supporting conference and training room technology
