Job Summary

As a PLC Programmer at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the development and adaptation of PLC programs for industrial automation systems within the mechanical engineering, plant construction, or conveyor technology sectors. Your day-to-day activities will involve programming and commissioning systems using platforms such as Siemens S7, TIA Portal, or Beckhoff, alongside conducting rigorous testing and troubleshooting of control systems. You will play a key role in analyzing customer requirements to create technical concepts and ensuring all program statuses are meticulously documented. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field; alternatively, a qualification as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsperson with relevant experience.

Experience

Professional experience in handling various automation systems and technologies such as Step 7, TIA Portal, or Codesys
Experience in the commissioning of industrial plants and automation components
Experience in creating technical concepts based on customer requirement analysis
Professional experience in interpreting circuit diagrams and technical drawings
Experience in visualization and robotics programming is considered an advantage
