Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the independent planning and creation of electrical circuit diagrams for machines and assemblies within the specialized machinery and plant engineering sectors. Your daily activities will include developing cable lists, terminal diagrams, PLC data point lists, and bills of materials for downstream departments. You will play a critical role in selecting and dimensioning control cabinet and automation components while ensuring all designs comply with relevant electronic regulations and standards. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, or alternatively, advanced training as a State-Certified Technician/Master Craftsperson in Electrical Engineering, or a completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering with several years of professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical design within the machinery and plant engineering sector
  • Experience in the independent planning and creation of electrical circuit diagrams
  • Proficiency in using EPLAN P8 or similar CAE systems for electrical design
  • Practical experience in selecting and dimensioning automation components
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering norms and regulations
