Job Summary

This role is situated within the ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig competence center at TUD Dresden University of Technology, focusing on the intersection of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. As a Research Associate, PhD Student, or PostDoc, you will conduct scientific research in cutting-edge areas such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Knowledge Graphs, and Machine Learning, with a specific focus on combining Language Models with Knowledge Graphs to develop truthful and citable AI systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating on national and international research projects, presenting research results and prototypes, and contributing to scientific teaching tasks like seminars. This position is particularly attractive due to the access provided to high-performance computing resources and the opportunity to work under the Chair of Scalable Software Architectures for Data Analytics. The role offers a 24-month initial contract with potential for extension, aimed at fostering further academic qualification in a leading German AI research environment.
