Job Summary

The HCM Management Officer will play a crucial role in the LWL's Human Capital Management department, focusing on the technical administration and support of SAP SuccessFactors. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and adapting SAP SuccessFactors modules like Employee Central and Recruiting, ensuring system functionality, and overseeing processes. The role involves providing user support and consultation, addressing inquiries, creating user manuals, and assisting with training. This position also requires coordination with internal departments, project collaboration for system development, and supporting payroll-related inquiries and monthly booking runs. The ideal candidate will possess strong IT affinity, an understanding of HR processes, and a proactive, analytical approach to problem-solving. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in General Administration (e.g., Diploma in Public Administration, Bachelor of Laws from HSPV), or successful completion of the promotion examination for General Administration (Laufbahngruppe 2, first entry-level), or successful completion of the 'Verwaltungsfachwirt' (VL II) course, or a university degree (Diploma or Bachelor) in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources or Computer Science. Alternatively, a vocational training in municipal public service (e.g., Administrative Assistant, Office Management Assistant, VL I) combined with a commitment to further qualification through VL II, or a university/technical college degree (Diploma/Bachelor) or equivalent qualification at DQR Level 6, with a commitment to further qualification through VL II.

Experience

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors
  • Experience with SAP HCM
  • Professional experience in public service (preferred for specific qualification paths)
  • Experience in supporting payroll and accounting processes

Additional

  • Unbefristet (Permanent contract). Full-time (41 or 39 hours/week) or part-time possible. Initial assignment to HCM-Management until 31.12.2026, with continued employment within LWL in the same salary group afterwards. For candidates requiring further qualification (VL II), a minimum of 30 hours per week is required during the qualification period.
