Job Summary

As a Telematics Commissioning Engineer at Mercedes-AMG, you will be responsible for the independent commissioning of telematics control units on both test benches and within vehicles. Your daily activities will involve goal-oriented error analysis, troubleshooting, and tracking of commissioning issues. You will act as a vital link between component managers and UI/UX developers, ensuring seamless integration of telematics systems. The role is highly hands-on, requiring the installation of measurement technology, component replacement on test vehicles, and participation in global test drives. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the series development of telematics systems and components within the automotive sector
  • Proven experience in independent error analysis and tracking for commissioning topics
  • Practical experience in vehicle and test bench support
  • Experience in cross-functional coordination and communicating requirements to diverse stakeholders
