Job Summary
This role at Mercedes-Benz Customer Solutions GmbH involves leading the enterprise-wide AI transformation, from initial concept to the deployment of scalable production solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing complex AI architectures (including LLM and RAG-based systems), and implementing secure AI pipelines within a SecBizDevOps and agile environment. Day-to-day, you will consult with executives on AI roadmaps, develop prototypes, and ensure the operational stability of AI systems through MLOps/LLMOps practices. The position is unique for its high degree of creative freedom and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like agentic workflows and generative AI to drive measurable business impact for iconic brands like AMG and Maybach. You will act as a bridge between technical engineering teams and business stakeholders, fostering an AI-driven culture across the organization.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a equivalent qualification with a focus on mathematics/statistics.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in dynamic analytical environments such as consulting, automotive, or tech startups
- Proven track record in the design and implementation of complex enterprise-scale AI architectures
- Extensive experience in AI lifecycle management, including model training, versioning, and drift detection
- Demonstrated experience in strategic consulting for executives regarding AI roadmaps and governance
- Experience in developing prototypes and Proof-of-Concepts (PoC) for AI solutions
- Professional experience with cloud-based AI platforms and integration of heterogeneous AI models
