Job Summary
The City of Darmstadt is seeking a Knowledge Manager for its Citizen and Public Order Office, specifically within the Foreigners' and Citizenship Department. This role involves comprehensive knowledge management in foreign law, including the conception, research, and maintenance of a knowledge database. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or civil service examination for the higher-level service in general administration (e.g., Bachelor of Arts – Public Administration or Dipl.-Verwaltungswirt/in) OR completed training as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt/in) or comparable qualification.
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience
- Thorough and versatile knowledge of foreign law, including relevant laws, ordinances, etc.
- Knowledge of public order and administrative law, or willingness to acquire it promptly
- Ability to implement and explain relevant laws, ordinances, decrees, and current jurisprudence

Additional
- Must be suitable for computer screen work. Willingness to expand language skills is desirable. Service-oriented and citizen-friendly attitude. Willingness to work outside regular service hours in exceptional cases. Limited-term contract until July 30, 2027.
