Job Summary

As an Automotive Component Responsible Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between design concepts and final production. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve coordinating complex projects while ensuring strict adherence to cost, quality, and scheduling targets. You will act as a central point of contact, steering communication between internal development departments and external suppliers to align on technical requirements. Key tasks include managing change requests, documenting release recommendations, and reviewing technical specifications such as CAD models and bill of materials (BOM). You will also be responsible for installation space analysis and presenting development progress in various technical committees. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Multi-year experience within the automotive industry with a strong understanding of overall vehicle architecture
  • Proven experience in managing operational processes within automotive development environments or for Tier-1 suppliers
