Job Summary

As a Marine Electrical Technician for submarines, you will play a critical role in the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of complex electrical systems during sea trials and maintenance cycles. Based at TKMS, a global leader in naval shipbuilding, your daily responsibilities will range from troubleshooting and repairing components on board to providing technical customer training in international export markets. You will also be responsible for creating technical manuals, maintenance documentation, and supporting quality assurance activities. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in the electrical field (e.g., Electrician, Electrical Technician), optionally supplemented by a state-certified technician qualification or equivalent knowledge.

Experience

  • Basic qualification as a submarine crew member required
  • At least 1 year of professional experience on board a submarine
  • Several years of professional experience in the electrical maintenance and repair of naval systems
  • Experience in conducting technical training and creating instructional documentation
  • Possession of watchkeeping certification for engine service according to STCW-95
