Job Summary
As an Electronics Technician for Machine and Drive Technology at Siemens Energy Global, you will be responsible for the daily electrical intermediate testing of individual components and complete systems. This hands-on role involves performing high-voltage tests up to 75kV, insulation tests, and impedance measurements, as well as conducting various tests on machinery in rotating operation. You will be tasked with the setup and dismantling of mobile measuring equipment and must independently evaluate measurement results. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who prioritizes safety and quality in a high-stakes industrial environment. The role offers the opportunity to work with large-scale components like generators and grid stabilization equipment within a 35-hour work week. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Machine and Drive Technology or as an Electrical Machine Builder.
Experience
- Extensive professional experience in the electrical testing of large-scale components such as generators and grid stabilization equipment
- Proven experience in the wiring of large-scale electrical systems and switchgear construction
- Experience in handling mobile high-voltage testing facilities is highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience in self-organized, quality-oriented, and safety-conscious work environments
Languages
Additional
- Valid Crane and Forklift licenses (Staplerschein) and G25 medical certificate required; must be willing to perform overtime and work in rotating shifts; requires good physical constitution and a work permit for Germany.
