Job Summary

This role involves the independent design, specification, and processing of various heat exchangers and thermal apparatuses for large-scale industrial heat pump process cycles. As a Heat Exchanger Design Engineer, you will focus on mechanical vessel design and the definition of components for energy-optimized refrigerant cycles. You will be responsible for creating technical documentation according to international standards, managing procurement specifications, and coordinating with external suppliers. The position offers a high degree of responsibility, covering the entire lifecycle from technical sales support and supplier qualification to commissioning and process optimization. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Energy and Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Apparatus Engineering (ideally with a focus on heat exchangers).

Experience

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the design, specification, and planning of thermal apparatuses and vessels
  • Extensive experience with static equipment and thermal components
  • Proven track record in handling international engineering standards and pressure vessel regulations
  • Experience in technical coordination of external suppliers and interdisciplinary teamwork
  • Experience in technical sales support and evaluating customer specifications
