Job Summary

This role involves managing and optimizing SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Application Interface Framework (AIF) processes for a major regional grid operator in Dortmund. As an SAP Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day steering of maintenance processes, master data management, and the monitoring of complex AIF interfaces. A significant portion of the role focuses on error analysis, root-cause diagnostics, and the resolution of functional disturbances using ticketing systems like Jira and ServiceNow. You will act as a bridge between development teams, infrastructure partners, and end-users, ensuring high service quality through meticulous documentation and knowledge sharing. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering with an IT focus, or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or Application Development.

Experience

  • Professional experience as an SAP Specialist or in a similar technical role
  • Practical experience with SAP EAM maintenance processes, including notifications and work orders
  • Proven experience in SAP AIF monitoring and structured processing of erroneous messages
  • Experience working with IT service management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow
  • Experience in system diagnostics, log analysis, and monitoring tools
  • Experience in cross-team collaboration with development and infrastructure partners
