Job Summary

This role involves the scientific and technical leadership of the Tumor Documentation department at the University Cancer Center Schleswig-Holstein (UCCSH) in Kiel. As the head of a 10-person team, you will be responsible for the professional management of oncological data within the UKSH documentation system and reporting to the Schleswig-Holstein Cancer Registry. A key focus of the position is the scientific analysis of key performance indicators for certified organ cancer centers and the application of AI-supported evaluation methods for quality assurance and healthcare research. You will act as a central liaison, reporting regularly to center leadership and campus management while collaborating with IT specialists and data coordination teams. Required Skills

Education

University degree in (Bio/Medical) Informatics, Documentation, or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in data management, data integration, and quality assurance within the medical or scientific field
  • Proven leadership experience and management qualities in a professional setting
  • Extensive experience in the preparation, analysis, and evaluation of structured oncological data
  • Experience with electronic data collection and structured documentation processes
  • Experience in collaborating with IT specialists and managing complex data sets
