Job Summary
As a Calibration Specialist at Roche, you will serve as the guardian of metrological integrity, ensuring that complex measuring systems and electrical processes meet the highest standards of precision. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing high-precision adjustments on measuring systems, managing GxP and ISO-compliant documentation, and handling deviations (CAPA) or audits. You will act as an analytical lead by identifying trends and drifts through statistical analysis to optimize risk-based calibration strategies. Furthermore, you will coordinate external service providers, verifying calibration certificates for metrological traceability. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Engineering (Electrical/I&C) or a comparable scientific qualification (e.g., Vocational training with further qualification as a Technician).
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering or metrology
- Extensive experience in a regulated environment (GxP/ISO)
- Proven experience in the analysis, planning, and development of metrological systems
- Experience in managing and controlling external service providers
- Professional experience with technical software such as SAP/PM or data dashboards
