Job Summary
As an Algorithm Developer for Medical Imaging at Siemens Healthineers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of interventional angiography systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve developing advanced image processing algorithms and imaging concepts for 2D real-time imaging, specifically for the 'OPTIQ AI' platform. You will work within an interdisciplinary, international team to take algorithmic prototypes from initial concept to market readiness, ensuring real-time capability and high clinical quality. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in X-ray physics and machine learning with the ability to translate complex clinical requirements into technical specifications. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or Diploma in a technical or physical field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Medical Technology, Physics, or equivalent). A PhD in a relevant field is considered advantageous.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in algorithm development for real-time image processing
- Extensive experience in medical imaging technology and machine learning
- Proven track record in implementing algorithms in a prototyping environment using Python or C++
- Experience in agile development within a medical technology environment is preferred
- Professional experience in interdisciplinary and international team collaboration
