Job Summary
As an IT Systems Engineer for KÖNIGSTEINER Services GmbH in Stuttgart, you will serve as the technical backbone for a leading recruitment services group. Your daily responsibilities involve managing a complex hybrid infrastructure, ranging from Windows (2019/2025) and Linux (Ubuntu) server administration to overseeing virtualization environments like Proxmox and VMware. You will drive automation through scripting, enhance IT security, and manage critical network components including VPNs and firewalls. This role is highly project-oriented, involving system migrations and the optimization of backup strategies using Veeam. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a university degree in Computer Science/Informatics.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience as an IT Systems Engineer or IT Systems Administrator
- Proven experience managing hybrid environments (On-Prem and Cloud)
- Practical experience in server deployment and infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, RDS)
- Experience in planning and implementing infrastructure projects and system migrations
- Experience providing 2nd and 3rd level technical support
