Job Summary

As an IT Application Manager at Contilia.Digital, you will play a vital role in supporting the healthcare IT infrastructure for over 8,000 users across the Ruhr region. Your daily responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting medical IT applications (2nd level support), collaborating with external vendors, and providing expert consultation to clinical departments and key users. You will be instrumental in analyzing business requirements to implement tailored software solutions and managing projects for the rollout of new applications and interfaces. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse ecosystem of systems including HIS, PDMS, PACS, and LIS. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Medical Informatics; or vocational training as an IT Specialist (System Integration/Application Development); or equivalent qualification as a clinical Key User with high IT competence.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT application support or medical informatics
  • Ideally 2+ years of experience in an IT environment within a medical facility
  • Experience in the configuration and administration of clinical applications
  • Initial experience in managing external service providers and vendors
  • Proven knowledge of clinical and administrative hospital processes
