Job Summary

As a Laboratory Technical Assistant in the Clinic for Hematology, Oncology, Hemostaseology, and Stem Cell Transplantation, you will play a vital role in molecular genetic diagnostics. Your daily responsibilities include receiving and preparing patient samples, as well as the independent planning, execution, and documentation of complex molecular analyses such as PCR, RT-qPCR, and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). You will be responsible for preparing diagnostic findings, maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensuring the maintenance and calibration of sophisticated laboratory equipment. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a clinical research environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Medical Laboratory Assistant (MTLA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), or Biology Laboratory Technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in molecular genetic laboratory techniques
  • Experience in leukemia diagnostics or molecular diagnostics is preferred but not mandatory
  • Practical experience in the operation and calibration of complex measuring systems
  • Experience in creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs)
