Job Summary

The Technical University of Munich (TUM) is seeking a Technical Director to lead the Life Science Tech Core Facility at the Weihenstephan campus for an 18-month parental leave cover. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the operational management of a diverse technical infrastructure, including workshops for metal, plastic, wood, and electronics. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve supervising facility operations, ensuring occupational safety standards, and coordinating renovation and maintenance projects. A unique aspect of this position is the opportunity to support academic research and innovative startups within the TUM Venture Lab FAB, specifically in the fields of food, agriculture, and biotechnology. You will act as a key liaison between university departments, students, and regulatory authorities. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Master's or Diploma) in the field of Life Sciences.

Experience

  • Experience working with regulatory authorities and health/consumer protection agencies

Additional
