Job Summary
As an EDI Developer at HORNBACH, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless data transmission within the company's supplier management technical environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve developing custom integration solutions, creating and testing EDI mappings, and monitoring systems to ensure error-free operations. You will lead EDI projects, supporting the onboarding process for new partners and troubleshooting technical disruptions. Beyond technical execution, you will optimize and document audit-compliant processes to improve efficiency. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable vocational training qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in implementing EDI mappings using tools such as SEEBURGER BIS, Lobster, or TradeXpress
- Practical experience with standard EDI message types including ORDERS, DESADV, and INVOIC
- Demonstrated experience in technical interface management and troubleshooting
- Experience in leading EDI or IT projects is highly desirable
- Proven track record in supplier management or supply chain technical environments
