Job Summary
As a Systems and Network Administrator for a family-run media and printing house with over 100 years of history, you will take a central role in shaping the company's evolving IT landscape. Your day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for hardware and software issues, performing error analysis, and managing the installation and configuration of servers and networks. You will handle IT procurement, documentation, and data backup processes while actively driving internal IT projects forward. The role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a 'hands-on' mentality and wants to work with a mix of Windows and macOS environments. This position is particularly attractive due to its high level of creative freedom, flexible working hours with flextime, and a hybrid work model allowing for a mix of home office and presence at the Greven and Selm locations.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science (Specialization: System Integration), a technical degree, or equivalent professional experience. Certifications such as MCP or LPIC are considered an advantage.
Experience
- Professional experience in systems and network administration or a related technical field
- Proven experience in managing current IT infrastructures and networking technologies
- Experience with server configuration, testing, and commissioning
- Experience in IT project participation and process optimization
