Job Summary

As a Development Engineer for Interior E/E Control Units, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of vehicle interior functions, such as seats, steering wheels, and comfort features. Your daily responsibilities include managing the entire lifecycle of modular control units—from tendering and supplier selection to development and final release. You will be responsible for the functional design and partitioning of hardware and software components while collaborating closely with module leaders to ensure targets for cost, weight, quality, and deadlines are met. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy a mix of technical design and project management. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Proven experience in E/E processes and supplier steering
  • Practical experience in project management within a technical environment
  • Professional experience with automotive bus systems such as CAN and LIN
  • Experience working with interior vehicle components and comfort functions
