Job Summary
As an HR Generalist at the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences, you will manage the full employee lifecycle for a specific group of staff members. Your daily responsibilities include handling personnel administration from onboarding to offboarding, serving as a primary contact for queries regarding collective bargaining agreements (TV-L), maternity leave, and vacation entitlements. You will also oversee the recruitment management system, from drafting job advertisements to final hiring. Beyond administrative tasks, you will contribute to strategic departmental projects, particularly in the area of digitalization. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys human interaction and structured work. The position offers a high degree of flexibility with mobile working options and family-friendly policies, all within an innovative academic environment in the heart of Stuttgart.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Public Management, Diploma in Public Administration (FH), or a comparable degree with a focus on Human Resources.
Experience
- Professional experience in personnel administration and HR management
- Practical experience in applying labor and collective bargaining law
- Experience in managing recruitment processes and applicant tracking systems
- Experience in collaborative project work, specifically within digital transformation
