Job Summary

As a Systems Technician for the 86 Communications Squadron in Ramstein, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of network infrastructure. Your day-to-day duties involve planning, installing, maintaining, and repairing network switching systems and computers, alongside their associated hardware and software data cycles. Beyond technical maintenance, you will serve as a technical advisor for system users and program managers, ensuring customer requirements align with current technology standards and organizational policies. You will also troubleshoot complex telecommunications protocols and interface issues while performing regular facility inspections.
