Job Summary

As a Senior Expert for Digitalization and Automation Platforms in Cologne, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic IT management of BwBM, the company responsible for the entire clothing value chain of the German Armed Forces. You will lead the digital transformation by identifying automation potentials and implementing scalable platforms using SAP and Microsoft Power Platform. Your daily work involves bridging the gap between IT, business departments, and external partners, moving from conceptual design to hands-on testing in the company's real-world laboratory. This role is unique as it combines innovation, project management, and technology strategy without being a pure development position. You will be instrumental in building an organization-wide community for digital processes and evaluating cutting-edge technologies like AI, Process Mining, and RPA to create value-driven business solutions for approximately 250,000 users.
