Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer specializing in primary planning, you will play a critical role in the energy transition by designing and modernizing high-voltage and extra-high-voltage substations (up to 380kV) across Southeast Germany. Your daily responsibilities include creating detailed technical designs, calculations, and 3D constructions using AutoCAD or Primtech. You will act as a key technical advisor for construction teams and project management, ensuring that all planning documents meet regulatory standards. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure projects that directly impact climate protection goals. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering (specializing in Energy Technology), or a qualification as a State-Certified Technician in Electrical/Energy Engineering. Equivalent technical qualifications in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering are also accepted.

Experience

  • Professional experience in primary technical planning or design of high and extra-high voltage systems
  • Practical experience in creating execution-ready planning documents and parts lists
  • Experience in managing and quality-checking external engineering services
  • Proven track record of working with CAD systems for technical construction
