Job Summary
This role involves the operational management and maintenance of substations and switchgear systems within the Schleswig-Holstein power grid. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting facility inspections, assessing equipment conditions, and supervising external partner companies during installation works. You will play a critical role in ensuring occupational health and safety, developing maintenance schedules, and contributing to network strategies and budget planning. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical training (e.g., Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or Mechatronics Technician) plus a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician degree in Electrical Engineering (completed or currently in progress).
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of substations and switching stations is preferred
- Experience in switching operations for medium and high-voltage systems up to 110kV
- Experience in supervising external contractors and assembly work
- Proficiency in using digital tools and business software (SAP and MS Office)
Languages
Additional
- Driving license class BE required. Candidates with active medical implants must provide a clearance certificate due to work in electromagnetic fields. The position is initially limited to a 2-year fixed-term contract. Participation in on-call standby duty is required. Regional mobility within the South-East region (Plön, Segeberg, Ostholstein, Herzogtum-Lauenburg, Stormarn) is necessary.
